According to HITS, Interscope Geffen A&M has just announced the formation of A&M/Octone Records. The roster will include Octone acts including Maroon 5, Flyleaf, Michael Tolcher and Dropping Daylight - Could we have a Columbia/Epic?

The Record labels are consumed right now cutting deals with mobile ringtone companies. A recent look at the global wireless market declared that the market for ringtones has peaked. - Coleen Mcmahon is creating a lot of chatter around her. The 19 year old is well known in her Oregon hometown for being vocally and visually mesmerizing. After her classmates ‘elected’ her prom queen for being the most talented, she took her parents car and drove to Los Angeles catching the attention of producers who worked with Evanescence and Josh Groban. Insiders say she is the next Celine Dion.
