There are twenty five uniquely appointed bedrooms decorated with eclectic antiques from all over the world and central kitchens where breakfast is served upon request before taking a short stroll through the grounds to the studios.

The well maintained studios feature two pristine Vintage Neve consoles. A 80 channel 8078, the left side of which was the original west-coast Motown board, resides in the spacious Neve Control Room connected to the 48x36x22 Big Tracking Room. The 40 channel Vintage 8080, with 31102 all Class A mic pre/eqs, resides in the Adobe Studio which was built within an original 100 year old adobe structure and adjoins the 6 bedroom Ranch House.

The original A Studio has 4 adjoining tracking rooms which makes it ideal for live tracking. It features a 40 channel SSL E/G with a 16 outboard Vintage Neve mic/pre/eq including: (4) 1073, (4) 1084s, (2)1081s, (2) 31105s and (12) API mic pres and eqs. The Mix Room features a 64 channel SSL G/G+ with 24 channel of E eqs. There is an extensive collection of vintage and modern outboard gear in all the rooms with 54 vintage and modern guitars, 45 amps, 54 pedals, and a microphone collection which includes: many of the vintage Neumann, Telefunken, and AKG mics, including (3) ELAM 251,(3) Neumann U47 Long Body Chrome Tops, (2) AKG C12s, (2) Neumann M249s, (2) Neumann M250s, (2) Neumann U67s, (2) Neumann M269s, (2) Neumann KM 53s, (2) Neumann KM 54s, (3) Neumann U87s, (2) Coles 4038s, and more.

The majesty of getting away from all distractions and being in this star-filled country setting with a pool, patio with barbeque, ping pong, basketball, soccer/football front lawn, and workout room is something that is unique to Sonic Ranch. The studio complex also has a collection of original lithographs which include Salvador Dali, Marc Chagall, Joan Miró, and Pablo Picasso, in an art reflects and inspires art motif. The added productivity of no unwanted distractions and having everyone “on hand” 24/7 while still having all the amenities is complimented by the creative vibe and atmosphere of this multifaceted experience.
