MORE Indie Invaders / POSTED BY: KINGSOFAR

Movie Night has released the radio-ready song “Something” featuring Tish Hyman. It’s a cross between Third Eye Blind and Charlie Puth, something they would create.

It would perfectly fit Spotify’s Indie Pop, Indie Pop & Chill, Happy Chill Good Time Indie, Bedroom Pop, and Indie Pop Rocks playlists.

“This song is about getting over it and getting on with it. 0:46 is where things get real, then 1:14 is where our feature (Tish Hyman) enters with pure soul. This one’s for anyone who feels stuck.”

Mike Squillante on guitar and vocals, Nick Squillante on keys, and Steve Ranellone on drums make up the NYC pop/rock trio. After rebranding and creating all new songs, they have gained a reputation as a solid band. Their repertoire includes co-writes and productions with Grammy-nominated multi-platinum producer William Wiik Larsen, who has produced hits like Nico and Vinz’s “Am I Wrong,” Kygo’s “Stay,” and Florida Georgia Line’s “H.O.L.Y.” They’ve sold out various NYC concert venues, including Rockwood Music Hall and Gramercy Theatre. While performing on stage, the brothers spend their time producing and mixing records for independent artists and major label acts such as Hozier, Akon, and The Night Game. Recently, the band has gained a considerable following on TikTok, with over 125K followers and has been touring colleges all over the United States, sharing bills with American Authors, Offset, and Tai Verdes. The band will be releasing new singles in the upcoming months.
