Radio Days

Buzz Track: I’ve Got My Ways On Saturdays

Radio Days is a electro-indie-pop rock band from Holland. They released their debut EP in November 2013 which is filled with a diverse sound based on indie rock and roll guitars, poppy electro beats and new wave synths, often described as a mix of Kings of Leon meets Chvrches.  The band  created some chatter after Coldplay mentioned Radio Days on their website. Word began to spread and soon after they were booked to play three support act gigs in December 2013 and January 2014, in front of 18,000 people in the Americadome, warming up for Ilse DeLange and other artists.

It is late November, exactly two weeks after he was fired by Lady Gaga, but by appearances he and his calendar show no signs of vulnerability.

He is a man without breaks: He spent the morning fueled on the fumes of a banana, meeting with execs at his new soda company and then with tech founders he’s investing with; after that it was off to a lunch meeting with CAA, and now he’s at the Capitol Records tower in Hollywood. It’s the schedule of anyone of his caliber, though it’s also–and he won’t admit this–the habit of a recently dumped man who’s probably afraid to have time alone with himself.  Read more…
