About Us

🎙 About Kings of A&R

Kings of A&R is a long-running music and culture blog that spotlights emerging artists, creative voices, and cultural trends shaping today’s world. Founded and published by Dean Cramer, the platform first made waves by featuring artists early in their careers, long before they became household names.

We were among the first to highlight Lady Gaga, share the breakout hit “Apologize” by OneRepublic, and bring early attention to artists like Katy Perry, The Killers, Gotye, Capital Cities, The Neighborhood, and Twenty One Pilots.

Today, Kings of A&R continues to evolve by exploring the intersection of music, politics, and culture. We believe music reflects the times, and we use our platform to spotlight creative voices while engaging with the conversations that shape them.

🎶 We also assist new singers and songwriters through our broad network, connecting them with elite producers, songwriters, and industry professionals to help bring their music to life.
To get started, email dean@kingsofar.com with the subject line “I want great songs.”
