“Watch out for up-and-coming Montana Dane and the debut track ‘Something I Need.’

“Something I needed was written about a guy I didn’t need. My number one personal influence is Jennifer Nettles. She’s my mama of music. I also love Miranda Lambert and Mariah Carey. I love how they write in a sarcastic tone; it’s really relatable.”

The track could find a home on Spotify’s ‘Hot Country,’ ‘New Boots,’ ‘Wild Country,’ ‘Country Rocks,’ and ‘Texas Music Now’ playlists.”

Check out Tiana Green’s latest track, “Still Young,” where her unique sound blends the essence of Taylor Swift with the freshness of Olivia Rodrigo, yet she carves out her own distinct style within the mix. Breaking free like rebels, we stormed the school gates, live like there is nothing to lose,” sings Tiana. “You’re only young once, so live it up—simple as that
Tiana says, “I want people to listen to my music and feel genuine emotion; to move people and give them something to believe in, that’s the goal. There are so many different moments in life, and it’s in these moments that I find the passion to write music and capture it in a melody of poetic words”

As far as the creative process, Tiana notes, “She explains, “I can’t just sit down and write a song. What happens is I feel the energy in the air, a word pops up in my mind, a simple tune gets stuck in my head, a buzz of creativity fills my soul, instruments start to fill the holes, and that’s when I know I have to drop everything and go write a song. They float in the air just waiting to be selected to be brought to life.”

Check out Rexford and the track ‘Are You Gonna Be a Man‘, the lead single from her new EP Clear My Heart. It’s a melancholic, bluesy track with an electro flair that could be heard in a modern, smoky cigar bar. After singing about running in circles and a battle she can’t win, Rexford gets to the point: Are You Gonna Be a Man?

Rexford notes, “Are You Gonna Be a Man’ is inspired by the people who lie to us and make us feel crazy. When in reality, it’s really the relationship that’s crazy. This is the most cinematic song on my EP.”

Sarah Tomley, now known as Rexford, dives into real life, love, and change. Rexford embodies Sarah’s journey, embracing scars and growth. Based in LA, Sarah is a singer, songwriter, and actress with a depth of experience.

Check out the track ‘Sun‘ by Chicago-based frontman Marco Landaverde, who goes under the moniker Ocean Child. The singer-songwriter blends indie rock with dreamy vibes, creating an uptempo, dreamy tapestry. But instead of sounding like just a blend of ingredients, Ocean Child pulls off its own unique sound and ingredients that make it work.

The song could find a home on Spotify’s ‘Alt Rocked,’ ‘Indie All-Stars,’ and ‘Dreamy Vibes’ playlists.

Landaverde started by putting his songs online, then teamed up with school friends to form a band called Ocean Child. In 2020, they found their sound with the release of “You.” — think soulful vocals, indie rock vibes, and dreamy production. The next year, they dropped “Maye,” a catchy summer tune. By 2022, Ocean Child was rocking live shows, opening for bands like SALES and Inhaler. They kept evolving, moving from DIY to studio recordings with Benton Steps in 2023. Now, they’ve racked up over 300,000 streams and 10,000 fans online.

Stream the track on KOAR’s indie invaders playlist.

I recently had the chance to listen to GRIPPA’s track “LOVE IS ENOUGH,” released a few months ago. It’s a fusion of pop, straddling the line between chill and dance floor vibes.

Her debut EP, “IS THAT HER?” released when they were just 17 years old, garnered over a million streams on Spotify. Recently, she’s been collaborating with new songwriters and producers, with one notable collaborator being Wendy Starland, who famously discovered Lady Gaga.

Additionally, she received acceptance into the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU. However, they’ve made the decision to defer enrollment for now, opting instead to focus on their current pursuit of achieving pop stardom.
