Swedish pop singer Bella releases the debut track ‘Sorry If U Misunderstood‘.  Drawing comparisons from 80’s Dance-pop/Europop, Bella comes from a family of four musical sisters and immersed herself in the London music scene. With lyrics like “Just sex, go to next, then you head out the door Won’t flex on my ex, no I won’t anymore..Sorry if you misunderstood”, Bella reveals girls know when a guy is trying to take advantage of us. Singer/songwriter Emmy Åsblom who goes under the moniker Femme Royal drops her debut track How Bad.  The upbeat 80’s influenced track was helmed by producers Niklas Marklund and Anton Sandgren. The 25 year old Swedish pop singer had her beginnings in sleaze rock, jazz, and finally morphing into Femme Royale. Check it out!

Check out the video and the track Come Thru by Sophia Danai. The angst ridden track draws inspiration from a tumultuous relationship.  The song comes off her album Real Lies which is packed with electro-pop tracks and was recorded at Echoplant Studios in Port Coquitlam, B.C. with producer Ryan Worsley (Dear Rouge, Mathew V) and her band. Moreover, she’ll perform at Safe & Sound Music Fest Aug 24th.

SHAED, a three piece consisting of twin brothers and a female singer released an EP Melt on June 27th via Photo Finish Records. The electro trio met in high school and spent time touring with X Ambassadors, Marian Hill, and Bishop Briggs. Their first EP drew attention from NYLON, V Magazine, Billboard, and The Washington Post. All in all, the Washington, DC act has captured an original sound which can be heard in their latest tracks Trampoline and Silver Knife. Check it out!

Up and coming pop singer Cammi Summer releases the video for her debut track Stranger which is about love gone cold. The video which was shot in Brooklyn, has Cammi strolling the streets behaving like a seasoned pop star.  Originally from Argentina, but now based in Atlanta, she lists Demi, Avril, and Ariana as influences.  Breaking in the pop market has challenges, but after talking with Cammi, she is determined. In her Instagram bio she quotes “If you get tired, learn to rest, not to quit.” With a growing presence on Instagram, she also has several covers on YouTube with hundreds of thousands of views and a cheesy vocal-only video covering Selena Gomez ‘Wolves’ with 19 million views. Cammi tells us that a new single will drop shortly.
