Norwegian industrial pop artist Mari Hajem impresses with the unique Liquid Gold. The local press notes, “Her voice must be one of the best and most interesting in this town” while music journalist Jon Vidar Bergan says, “Hajem has a great voice, a lovely confidence on stage and that little extra you need to make it to the top”.

The 23 year old has opened for the likes of Kings Of Convenience and Ingrid Olava while performing at festivals including North England’s Threshold Festival and Norwegian’s Kongsberg Jazz Festival and Hove Festivalen. With thoughtful and introspective lyrics, Mari is cut from a different cloth from the average sun-soaked pop artist.

Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon said ‘There is not a lot of really raw music out there’. I couldn’t agree more, that’s why I like the latest single My Truth by Taylor Johns aka Between Giants .  It’s raw-self-produced indie rock. Having been involved in various projects, Between Giants (inspired by an art piece Among The Giants) marks his first solo project. John notes ,“I want to be in the position to be living off my music, and in a position where I can connect with and entertain as many people as possible. I want to sell out Madison Square Garden.” Check it out!
