The Playdates, the Canadian pop/rock act who was profiled on Kings multiple times broke the Top 100 BDS National Canada Radio Charts.

They have released the music video for the track Just Like The Movies and can be seen HERE.

The second single “Days and Nights” hits Canadian radio next week and they plan to hit the studio with producer Luc Tellier in the fall.

Kings favorite The Gallery will perform at the The Troubadour on Friday, August 27th.

The Gallery will record 5 new songs with Warren Huart (The Fray, Augustana) in September.

Kadawatha who we profiled last year will perform at Webster Hall on August 25th in NYC.

They also have an upcoming September 20th showcase at the Viper Room in Los Angeles.

Currently touring with Paramore and gaining a great deal of buzz.

Amidst has quickly become a Kings favorite after listening to the tracks  Go Get It and I Need It.

Mark Needham (The Killers,  Chris Isaac, Fleetwood Mac) mixed the record.

Currently Amidst is being played on 14 radio station all over Mexico. They are also in production for their first music video to a track called “Never Better Than Nothing,” which is the first single from their recently released album.
