Matthew Thiessen of Relient K made significant contributions to the latest Owl City release, Ocean Eyes, including producing the #1 BILLBOARD HOT 100 SINGLE  “Fireflies” (along with adding vocals). Other features include “The Bird and The Worm” (co-wrote, co-produced, vocals), “Tidal Wave” (co-produced, vocals), and
“Cave In” (co-wrote, vocals).

Matt has also co-written a song with Katy Perry called “Long Shot” which is featured on Kelly Clarkson’s current platinum release All I Ever Wanted.

Meanwhile, Relient K’s latest release “Forget and Not Slow Down” Debuted at #15 on the Billboard Charts 2 weeks ago with over 35,000 records sold in its first week.
