Jake Hays, the California based songwriter, actor and director, released his  new single, “All I’ve Got to Say”.  You’ll love if you’re looking for an electric guitar, soulful vocals, and a hook that won’t leave your head. That track would fit perfectly on Spotify’s New Noise or Rock This Playlist.

Co-written with one of his best friends, the two came together to revive an old chorus originally written in 2016, into the full rhythm-forward, tongue-in-cheek version it is today. Meandering between riff-heavy choruses and stripped-down electric guitar verses, the track demands your attention, only to leave you drowning in the murky waters of uncertainty.

Jake Hays has shared the stage with Bad Suns, Cold War Kids, and LANY. As a songwriter, his credits include writing with Matt Sorum (Guns N’Roses, Velvet Revolver), Grammy Award-winner Holly Knight (Aerosmith, Pat Benatar), and Cherie Currie (The Runaways). As a producer, he amassed over 69.8 million streams with his work for HUNNY’s “Televised,” and 7.1 million streams for his own work, including his lead single, “Sleep Talk.” The release of his debut EP, “Room 13,” was the first-time fans and critics got a glimpse at his self-titled musical style after a house fire ruined the body of work he was making for Maudlin Strangers.

Check out the indie pop-rock song Since You Left by Bianca Hosking.

When writing songs, you never know what’s going to happen throughout the process. At least that’s the case for Bianca Hosking, a singer-songwriter out of Melbourne, Australia. For her, writing comes from the subconscious, and every moment throughout can be a moment of discovery.

Bianca has always wanted to be a storyteller, gravitating towards artists like Taylor Swift, whom she points to as the reason for picking up a guitar as a young girl. Since then, writing songs has always been what she wanted to do, and what she believes she’s meant to do.

She believes that when someone listens to a song, it becomes theirs, in a way — “I like to capture an experience, blow it up dramatically, and then write about it,” she says.

NYC-based  Ayla D’Lyla releases the new haunting single “To Be A Girl.”

‘To be a girl’ is a letter to all of the girls who have lost themselves in the midst of a relationship. We often measure happiness by the romance existing, or not existing, in our worlds. Many of us tend to lose ourselves living in this state of fantasy and passion.” – Ayla D’lyla

As for the video, “The music video, shot by my sister, Malina Weissman, shows her raw filming style and sense of humor. Malina loves to create beautiful images without overproducing what she sees. I love the charming backdrop and the way she captured the melancholic feel of the song.”

Growing up with German and Palestinian roots, Ayla took a keen interest in German pop music from a young age and continues to derive inspiration from its intricacies. A classically-trained vocalist, Ayla has always had a deep admiration for legendary female vocalists such as Nancy Sinatra, Dolly Parton, and Cher. “I could watch these women for hours,” she notes, pointing to their captivating beauty and sound as a catalyst for her pursuit of a career in music.

The 22 year indie artist from Northern Ireland Olivia Cox drops the up tempo rocker New Man. The track was recorded in Vancouver with producer Paul Laine. The track pick up spins on stations in Northern Ireland, and the CoolFm radio station and on RTL in Luxembourg.

‘New Man’ is a fun, upbeat and fierce song I wrote about my ex’s new girlfriend being too pretty for him and how she has no idea what she’s getting herself into lol but the song can also be listened to from the perspective of the present and more self aware ‘me’ talking to the past, naive and in love ‘me’ saying “girl go treat yourself better, he is trash” – Olivia Cox
