Mellor, the indie 4-piece hailing from Reading releases the new single Arms Length. Although, there are plenty of indie bands trying to appeal to the mainstream, Mellor does this effortlessly. This band to watch is receiving love from BBC London while Spotify placed them on both ‘The Indie List’ and ‘Hot New Bands’ playlists, and Apple Music adding them to their emerging artists. KOAR favorite Sophie Rose releases the track Pink Lipstick. Sophie has a knack of writing well crafted songs. Her latest is very Meghan Trainor-esque. The new single follows Two Young Lovers which was featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist and is currently on Apple Music’s Taylor Swift’s Favorite Songs playlist. The 17 year old singer-songwriter, who has written nearly 500 songs, and is signed to a publishing joint venture between Ester Dean and Dr. Luke’s Prescription Songs.
