Look out for 26 year old singer songwriter Sandy Marie and the track Heavy Hearted. Her debut single is reminiscent to early Jessie J. The mid tempo sad song could find a home on Apple’s Heartbreak Pop Playlist.

“Heavy Hearted brought many suppressed emotions to the surface. Mentally, it was hard to find the right words to express the heartache I was reliving though the creation of Heavy Hearted. Emotionally, this song brings me back to some of the toughest times in my life. However, I truly believe there’s something so beautiful and empowering to be able to find a speck of light when you feel like you’re in complete darkness” says Sandy Marie.

Atlanta based bedroom pop songwriter Ben Provencial releases Forget About Me. Think Ed Sheeran but more haunting. The track comes off his forthcoming EP which will be a collection of sad songs.

“The song basically wrote itself, it’s about infidelity and broken promises in a relationship. I think cheating is one of the most destructive things you can do to your significant other” says Ben Provencial

The new track follows “BETTER OFF” which landed on Spotify’s Fresh Finds and Fresh Finds Pop Playlists. He’ll perform live alongside John K at Eddie’s Attic on October 19th.

Watch out for Sophia Bavishi and the track Running Out of Time. It’s fitting title because doesn’t it seem like we are running out of time? It’s the end of the rope for many. You’ll like if you’re in the mood for a slow haunting ballad. It would fill perfectly on Apple’s Chill Pop Playlist.

When the 20 year old is not grinding away on her degree in popular music at Arizona State University, you might find her making jamming music, wearing her Birkenstocks, and going on long road trips. Give it a stream on KOAR’s Indie Invaders playlist.

Zoe Ferguson impresses with the track christine. The mid-tempo song blurs electro pop and country-folk. Think Kacey Musgraves.

“I want people to hear my music and be able to relate to the words” says Zoe.

Writing about breakups and experiences as a teen, the 19 year old Portland native uploaded some of her tunes to SoundCloud and was chosen to participate in Atlantic Records’ and APG, EMERGE program. Her song Dip found a spot on Spotify’s Pop Right Now Playlist. Stream the track on KOAR’s Indie Invaders Playlist.

Dylan Dunlap dropped a new single Same Side that comes off his forthcoming EP forthcoming Stranger In My Head that comes out February 4th via Nettwerk Records. That track could find a spot on Spotify’s Soft Pop Playlist or Pop Chill on Apple Music.

Dylan says this about Same Side. “You’re just looking out for me. It’s literally about telling my team I know they have my best interest in mind, but I’m a stubborn brat,” he laughs. “I know they’re right, yet I don’t want to listen.”

Dylan spent time at Berklee and also busked around his native Burbank, CA which led to opening for OneRepublic in Provo, UT, that followed packed shows in the U.S. and the UK. He released two EP’s that garnered more 40 million+ combined Spotify streams. Stream the song on KOAR’s Indie Invaders Playlist.
