Buzz Track: Uh Oh

Kings favorite Super Water Sympathy just self released the new pop/rock single “Uh Oh” from their upcoming album. The album was recorded in London with Cam Blackwood (Florence + The Machine, Coldplay, Morrissey). The band will hit the road this fall and you can view the following dates here.

Buzz Track: Oh You’re The One

Sonnet Simmons has become a Kings favorite after listening too Oh You’re The One. The track was recorded with Producer Doug Grean (Stone Temple Pilots, Sheryl Crow, Scott Weiland). Sonnet began making a mark when her track “You’re So Good for Me,” was utilized in first a regional, then national, ad campaign for Coca-Cola, hitting the Top 100 downloads list for Amazon, appearing on iTunes, and garnering over 40K downloads in its first month. She subsequently performed with artists from Justin Timberlake’s label (Tennman Records/Interscope) and hit the road for Europe, Iraq and Kuwait. She will perform at The Viper Room on Oct. 9th with Daniel Powter. For fans of Adele and Amy Winehouse.

Buzz Track: Mind My Halo

Irontom emerged in early 2012 on the Los Angeles music scene. The band features Zach the son of Jack Irons (former drummer for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, currently drumming for The Wall Flowers). Zack was taught to play guitar by guitar virtuoso John Frusciante. Their sound ranges from The Arctic Monkeys to Led Zeppelin. The band recently finished a full length album with producer Alain Johannes (Queens of the Stone Age, Chris Cornell) and release date and touring news will be posted soon.

Buzz Track: What Your Mother Taught You

Kingsfoil has been on the Kings list for a while now and we love them even more now. Check out the new release as well as the video for the track What Your Mother Taught You. The new track was produced by Dustin Burnett (Newsboys, Augustana). The band has performed with Passion Pit, Dev, as well as Cobra Starship. The band will release their new record on September 29th that will coincide with a performance at the Chameleon Club in PA.

News Update: Breanna Lynn will perform on the Starbucks Stage on September 30th at the Adams Avenue Street Fair in San Diego. She is currently planning an upcoming tour. A gifted singer and guitar virtuoso, Breanna Lynn picked up her first guitar at the age of nine and through hard work, landed in the studio with producers like Ken Caillat (Colbie Caillat, Fleetwood Mac), Jim Cooper (Natalie Grant) and country star Jamie O’Neil. She cites Demi Lovato, Stevie Nicks and Christina Perri as inspiration. Check out the track I Told You So.
