Buzz Track: Summer In the City (video)
Indie pop act Freedom Fry who hails from France just released their new song and video for Summer In the City.
The band as well as Kings favorite Bruce Driscoll of Blondfire produced the latest single. This French & American indie duo typically performs at The Roxy, The Whisky, and Bar Lubitsch. Their track Rolling Down was on the season premiere of Bones. Other features include American Apparel, Glamour magazine, and French music mag Les Inrock.

News Update: Makari, a kings favorite just released a new called “Life, Barefoot” Feat. Tilian Pearson of Tides of Man.
The band released an EP titled “The Escape” which was recorded with Jason Andrews in Atlanta, GA. The single “Doses” was released earlier in the year and was recorded with Brooks Paschal (Paramore, Panic At The Disco, Versa Emerge, There For Tomorrow). They were featured as an unsigned artist of the month in Alternative Press and they performed at the Florida Music Fest in Orlando, FL in April.

News Update: Kings favorite indie pop act We Are One released a new track I Will. They will open for Neon Trees on August 10th at Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Fresh on the scene, female fronted We Are One has been making some noise. They successfully mix ska, jazz, and pop – in the vein of No Doubt. The band performed on Vans Warped Tour along side bands such as Man Overboard and Chris Cab after winning Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands. The band has a string of upcoming shows.
