Update/News: Kings favorite Bearcat will perform at the Gramercy Theater in NYC this Friday (May 11th). The band who is in the vein of Florence + the Machine streamed a new song which can be heard here. The debut EP will be released on June 5th and are currently on tour with Never Shout Never. A tour with Craig Owens (Chiodos) starts next week.

Renee Yohe has a new project called Bearcat. She helped form the nonprofit organization ‘To Write Love On Her Arms’ and also published a collection of journals chronicling her struggles which is being turned into a movie, ‘Renee’, starring Chad Michael Murray and Kat Dennings.

Buzz Track: Teenage Waste
Blackbear is an artist, songwriter, and producer signed to Universal Music Publishing, who most recently co-wrote Justin Bieber’s smash single “Boyfriend”. His recent collaborations have been with the likes of Machine Gun Kelly, Mike Posner, Pharrell Williams, and Relient K. He’s been promoting his self-released digital EP Foreplay, the first installation of a 4-part series, with a video coming out later this month for the single “Teenage Waste“.

Carson Henley, a 26 year old singer-songwriter from Seattle just released his debut EP. Carson worked and collaborated on this project with people including buzzing artist Allen Stone, Tess Henley (who is working with The Roots at Larry Gold’s “The Studio”), Grammy-winning engineer Kory Kruckenburg from Pickwick, Grammy-winning engineer Brian Lucey (who has worked with The Black Keys and The Shins), and James McCallister (who plays for Sufjan Stevens, Brandi Carlile, and Ivan & Alyosha). For fans of Allen Stone, Gavin DeGraw, and Matt Nathanson.
