Alabama Shakes have been the focus of the indie crowd. Boys & Girls, the full-length debut album was released in North America in April by ATO Records and released internationally by Rough Trade. They were named “New Band of the Year” by Paste Magazine and appeared on NPR Music’s list of favorite new artists while “Hold On” ranked as one of NPR Music’s “100 Favorite Songs of 2011.” MTV dubbed them as the ‘Artist To Watch” in 2012.

Antonia Vai has become a Kings favorite. This Swedish singer-songwriter manages to capture a haunting vibe without sacrificing melody. She is working on her debut album and typically performs in Stockholm. Her self produced songs are quickly becoming an underground internet sensation while landing an article in Nöjesguiden, the biggest Swedish entertainment guide, where she was listed as the “Next Up And Coming”.

Buzz Track: Love Sick
Singer-songwriter Lexie Hofer has become a Kings favorite after listening to her newly recorded album. Originally from Kansas, she relocated to Los Angeles and recorded her debut album in Nashville following in the footsteps of Taylor Swift. Our other favorite tracks include Hostage and Butterflies.
