Buzz Track: Who You Are

Incura a hybrid rock act that hails from Canada has become a King favorite. It goes without saying that the rock genre needs a facelift and Incura makes a strong attempt to shake things up. This will be the band’s first full-length release, coming out via Coalition Music (a Canadian indie label distributed by Warner Music Canada) in September 2012. The record was produced by Arnold Lanni (Our Lady Peace, Finger Eleven, Simple Plan) and they recently supported Apocolyptica in May.

Buzz Track: Sinking In

California rockers Great White Buffalo are creating a big buzz with the release of their EP ‘Tightrope’ which was co-produced by Grammy Winner Phil Allen (Adele 21). After spending time with the tracks you will hear the influences which include The Verve, Queens of the Stone Age and The Strokes. You can expect a heavy industry turn out at their June 28th show at The Troubadour in West Hollywood.

Buzz Track: The Ghosts We Will Become

South California’s Nations Afire is an unsigned band that features current and former members of Rise Against, Ignite and Death By Stereo. The band just premiered the video for the title track “The Ghosts We Will Become” from their upcoming album. Nations Afire is signed to EMI Publishing but is currently not signed to a record label. This ‘band to watch’ will announce their tour this week.

News Update: Kings favorite Allen Stone remains independent but has announced that the Dave Matthews-helmed ATO Records will be licensing the record for a national release. His new single, “Sleep,” to radio and will release his self-titled album on July 31.
