Pop/folk acts have been creating a decent amount of noise lately. With that said, fresh on the scene Pawnshop Kings has quickly become a Kings favorite after hearing
the track Don’t Say That.

The duo consisting of two brothers who were born in Texas but grew up surfing the beaches of Orange County while spending summers in Arkansas and Memphis. Their sound is a mesh of Beach, Soul, Gospel, and Blues.

Pawnshop Kings have generated a solid buzz in the Nashville community.

Every once in a while a left- of- center indie band creates a buzz and are surrounded by
New York/ Los Angeles music labels and managers.

As of now, the 6 piece Seattle folk/rock act The Head and the Heart have created the industry buzz.

They recently opened up for Vampire Weekend at Seattle’s Paramount Theatre and are still available for a recording deal, but will most likely secure a deal shortly due to the feeding frenzy.

Will The Head and the Heart live up to the hype and stake their position as the next
Arcade Fire?

Listen to the track Cats and Dogs.
