This is almost unheard of, but Susan Boyle’s new album “I Dreamed a Dream” which hit stores today is expected to sell 500k copies in the first week. She set the record for pre-orders on Amazon.com and will outsell conventional artists like GaGa and Rihanna! I think a major lesson is to be learned here…
Is it me or does anyone else have a problem with this mix? After listening to this a dozen times, it doesn’t sound right. As far as the AMA performance, it was ok. If Lambert wanted to generate post chatter, he accomplished it. I just hope he acknowledges the fact that all of his idols like Freddie Mercury didn’t need to cause controversy. They just wrote great songs and delivered a stellar performance. In fact, Good Morning America canceled his performance tomorrow after ABC received 1,500 complaining phone calls. Freddie Mercury was never banned from performing, in fact, people loved him…
