Shekï (pronounced sHee..k eye) 18 years old was born Shekinah-Glory Kee-Green in Newark, New Jersey. She began singing with her church choir at the tender age of two. She cites gospel powerhouses Vicky Winans, Karen Clark-Sheard, and R&B artist Brandy Norwood as her inspirations. Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” appears on the verge of matching “Their Greatest Hits”. As of now, “Thriller” has been certified 28 times platinum which was released in 1982 and the Eagles “Greatest Hits” has been certified 29 times platinum.
