Susan Boyle

What artist sells over a million records in 2 weeks? That would be 47 year old Susan Boyle. She had another successful week selling over 500,000 copies of her CD “I Dreamed A Dream”.

Next in line are the usual suspects such as Taylor Swift who sold another 127,226 copies of Fearless which is approaching the 5 million mark. Lady Gaga sold 83,550k copies of Fame and she also set a 2009 digital sales record selling over 13million tracks. Yes, artists can survive in the digital world, you just need to be great.

michael warren

Kings favorite Michael Warren signed to Atlantic Records. Check him out in our 2008 new artist profile. We would like think of him as the next Seal with his smooth voice and sensual melodies.
Also, no auto-tune! Listen to the track No Way.

him
Finnish rock band HIM releases new single “Heartkiller” which is getting favorable reviews among fans. They are receiving over 100,000+ plays on their myspace. Hopefully, the new album, slated to be released in February will be stronger than the less than stellar 2007 release “Venus Doom”.
