R&B artist Jeremih just struck one of the biggest recording deals this year, if not the biggest, for a new artist. The execs were offering this R&B artist a hefty dollar amount after hearing his track Birthday Sex. The rapper turned singer was cornered by Capitol and Jive Records but ultimately signed with Island Def Jam Exec, L.A. Reid. Jeremih’s explosive blend of urban pop beats combined with melody and soul could make him a breakout star.
Jeremih is still available for a publishing deal. For more information email

Thousands of artists are performing at SXSW, watching the good ones could be a tough feat. Try The Crash Moderns, a NYC power pop act who have recently released the full length Goodnight Glamour, Good Morning Disaster. The band can easily fit in with The Cars and Cheap Trick. The Crash Moderns have been featured as band of the week on Fox’s Fearless Music TV, a full page article in the very hip Time Out NY magazine. Check out their SXSW show on March 21st at Blind Pig (9:00pm). Our favorite track is Where’d all The Scene Girls Go. For more information contact zendali1@aol.com
