I love stumbling upon a new artist that releases a really good first single. The newest find is Devon based singer-songwriter Elly J Devon. She has a passion for soul & jazz music and just dropped her first single Phoenix. It’s a cool track that has elements of her influences. Sarah Gosling played the debut single on her BBC Music Introducing show in late September. Devon will perform her first full band show in Totnes, Devon in mid December.

Now, she is #5 on New Music Friday. If REI AMI strikes a deal with a major she will mark the third Spotify viral artist this month following Arizona Zervas and Ant Saunders to have conquered the playlists as an indie artist.
