The Stockholm duo Moment which is made up of Rasmus and Joel release the indie pop track Shut Up. It’s the first song since leaving their music label and comes off their upcoming new album ‘New Beginnings’. The track which is about looking forward and not in the past has been getting blog love which everybody is calling it a energy filled pop tune. The London duo reveals how the track came about, “well it was a beat poem, then a jazz ballad, then a sorta fruity bop and then eventually we decided to fuse the styles of Dolly Parton and Not3s and write a torch song for the risky text with more than a sprinkling of neuroticism. Halifax-based producer, DJ and EDM artist, Famba drops a remix of his track Wish You Well. The track which features vocals from LA’s songwriter Trove blends EDM and dream prop. Signed to Sony Canada, his 2017 “Vibe” clocked over 27 million global streams. Kings favorite Dan Crossley dropped a new track Call Back. Having clocked nearly 500k streams and the attention of tastemakers, his latest track blends pop, R&B, and soul. Crossley says, “Call Back was written about that situation we’ve all been in; waiting for someone you’re interested in to call you back, but they never do. The track focuses on longing to hear their voice and wondering what could have been.” The 23 year old also notes that if he could go back in time, it would be in the golden age of pop. “I would definitely love to head back to the 90’s – Pop music has never been the same!” Check it out!
