MORE Indie Invaders / POSTED BY: KINGSOFAR

If you’re in the mood for something dreamy, lucid, and atmospheric, check out the new single “Dreams” from Houston In The Blind. Reminiscent of Death Cab for Cutie, “Dream” captures the essence of longing and resilience. As Houston In The Blind sings, “Dreams come then they run away,” this track resonates with anyone who has ever felt heartbreak or fought to keep their dreams alive amidst adversity. The track could find a spot on Spotify’s Chill Vibes, Dreamy Vibes, and Late Night Vibes playlists.

“Dreams takes most of its inspiration from a long-distance relationship my partner and I managed for 2 years. Life became a loop of endless goodbyes, it was brutal. I didn’t realize until years later the massive effect that experience had on me,” Houston in the Blind shares.

“The song went through many changes from its original form to what’s on the record. With each revision, my writing became more open and vulnerable, undeniably authentic. For better or worse, Dreams is a part of me.”
