I got quickly hooked on the track All Night Long by ives. It’s relaxing and chill in times like these. Speaking of chill, the track landed on several Spotify Playlists including Just Chill, Softly, and Soft Glow. I think the New Zealand artist perfectly weaves a web of electro pop, commercial pop, and indie electronic. The track comes off her Romantic EP who was was released on Valentines Day. We added the track to our Indie Invaders Playlist – give it a stream, and another stream.

Hatty Keane drops a new track Digging You. It has an r&b vibe like the previous track Digital Love. I think Keane has been delivering her best songs yet. I don’t know, but I feel the 25 year old is on the cusp of breaking out to the next level – of course timing is everything. The UK pop singer has tastemaker support from the likes of Spotify, Clash Magazine, Buzz Music and Celebmix. Give it a stream.

Check out the track That Nice by Vallé. I was hooked quickly. Hip hop fans could take a liking. Enjalas Jenkinson (his real name) takes inspiration Van Morrison, Chris Brown, Russ, J.Cole, and Kendrick lamar. Based in New Zealand, he’s opened for JessB and UnchainedX. Check out the track on the Indie Invaders Playlist.

How many black female artists rise in the country music scene? I can’t think of any which is why I want to give a shout-out to Ashlie Amber. Check out the track Almost Love which is surprisingly good. I would like to see this Vegas-Nashville based artist tour with Lil Nas X, hence more rules are broken. Mind you, the music landscape is really unconventional that outliers have a better shot than derivative acts. Plus, the track hit 50K spotify streams in 2 months and she’s booked on via Celebrity Cruise Lines where she performs Whitney Houston songs. Give it a stream.

We just added Normal Now by Limón Limón to the Kings Indie Invader Playlist. I’ve never heard of the act but I like the track. After I quick search I found out the duo is based in Los Angeles and have picked up tastemaker support with the release of their ‘west coast-good vibe’ electro tracks. The also landed on Spotify’s Indie Fresh Finds. That’s what I like, an artist spreading good vibes. I like to see vibes next to spreading rather than virus, because that all we hear today. Give it a stream.
