Moreover, Katelyn has established herself as an actress with roles as Jo Taylor on Nickelodeon’s Big Time Rush and Natalie on ABC’s No Ordinary Family. The benefit of an acting background while attempting to make it as an artist is the ability to connect. With that, Katelyn definitely has a strong social media media presence with shows lined up. The 22 year old Aussie draws inspiration from Bon Iver, John Mayer, and The Lumineers and is set to perform the The Great Escape Festival in May. With a European tour set in motion and a flurry of press propping the indie darling up, AVEC could be a breakout artist if her soon-to-be-release album reveals a smash hit.

Kings favorite Kayelee releases the new track What Is Love. The new track which is a 6/8 electronic love-ballad is a departure from the previous EDM/Pop flavored track ‘Don’t Wanna Be With You‘. It’s strong nevertheless, revealing her emotional/bluesy side of her artistry. The 20 year old pop singer-songwriter is a Berklee College of Music student and could follow the footsteps of the likes of Betty Who and others.

Doktor releases the single and video Man On Fire. Filled with twerking ladies, the Jamaican born and London based artist shot the video in Jamaica. All in all, it’s a party song reminiscent of Taio Cruz 2010 smash hit Dynamite. Doktor first made waves when he was featured on Soundbwoy Ent’s Ministry of Sound chart hit Never Wanna Say. Moreover he has supported Nas, Busta Rhymes, and Ne-Yo. Check it out!
