Oddnesse’s new track release Are You Down is a slow grower but that’s what makes it genius. Oddnesse is the collaboration between LA based musician Rebeca Arango and producer Grey Goon. Think Lana Del Rey meets Sia.
Rebeca notes, “I call this my Pina Colada song. The question of going “slow” isn’t about romantic pacing per se (though that is important), it’s more about generally moving slow, never rushing to pack in too much all at once or getting anxious about “missing out,” and preferring to sink in and explore the depths of all things.”
LA based singer-songwriter Natalie Major releases the catchy City of Gold. The track which follows the previous single Human is a collaboration with producer Rob Kleiner (Sia, Ceelo Green, Andra Day) and touches on chasing your dreams in Los Angeles. Natalie notes, ” The song has kind of a pessimistic view point mixed in with a lot of truth and a reminder of the passion for what you create that keeps you from giving up.”
Natalie collaborated with Showtek on their latest single On Our Own which clocked 8 million Spotify streams, as well as Tiesto and Bobby Puma on the track Someone Somewhere landing on Spotify’s Global Viral Top 50.
