Alt pop duo Shallows unloaded the new ultra-catchy single Drive Away. I first fell in love with Los Angeles act when I heard Summer Sucks which lamented the crushing weight of the California heat wave. The latest ballad-esque Drive Away which borrows from chill wave (no pun intended) and shoe gaze dropped on Spotify’s New Music Friday. Lastly, the pop outfit reached 100,000+ listeners on Spotify.

Lina Hansson aka Violet Days rolled a new single called Suck At Love. The track which is layered in synths coupled with a catchy melody line/riff premiered on The Line of Best Fit, combines all the elements of a pop hit. The track also made Spotify’s Global New Music Friday. It’s been up & up for the Swedish songstress since we featured her and named her a top 8 emerging artist in 2015.
