Kings favorite Julian Lamadrid has released a well crafted video for his song Marimba. The song which quickly garnered 25k YouTube views in just a week is about a boy who is sad and alone at home because his ‘girl’ won’t send him a snapchat or a text, as she is too busy out having fun.
Julian who moved to NYC and is studying at NYU, cites The Weeknd, J Dilla, Vampire Weekend as influences. Inspired by a wide array of genres, Julian combines hip hop, indie rock and a bit of R&B. Julian has over 1 million Spotify plays and was recently added to the Spotify Playlist Chillvibes.
