The Native Howl released a 5 song EP Thrash Grass on the band-owned Clean Dirt Records that remained on the Billboard Charts for nearly 2 months, having people scratching their heads. The Rochester, Michigan act kicked off in 2013 as a duo releasing their debut recording The Revolutions Dead before adding the newest members which brought them into a brand new genre mixing rock, folk, and bluegrass. Now with adding piano, harmonica, banjo, djembe, the band is nearly impossible to define. Los Angeles based singer-songwriter Sam Nicolosi released the soul track Fiction. Sam got his start when his songs were passed around, eventually leading to a pub deal with Warner Chappell Music. UK indie 4 piece Young Astronaut released a video for the new track Chasing El Dorado. Shot at the roller disco Rollerworld in Colchester, the video is reminiscent of the 90’s – pink roller skates, video games, and neon lights. The track which was produced by Geoff Swan (White Lies, Ed Sheeran, Bastille) comes off their forth-coming album called A Gold Frontier scheduled for April 7th.

Formed by brothers Chris & Pete Boakes, the band has garnered support from BBC and have performed a wide variety of venues in London as well as Beijing, Chengdu and Hong Kong. Check it out!
