Electro indie-pop Sleeplust released ‘My Place‘. The latest track was inspired by their move to Los Angeles. “My Place is an anthem for letting things rest as they are and coming into ourselves in this new place” says Tartamella. The three piece is made up of songstress Meghan Tartamella and twin brothers Michael and Joseph Pepe. They released their debut EP in November with much fanfare. The band is eyeing song placements on major cable networks this spring & will perform West Coast dates dates as well as festivals.

Brooklyn indie duo High Highs have released their latest “How Could You Know” which comes off their new album Cascades. Drawing inspiration from the 80’s the band recorded most of their album in NY. High Highs have been in formation for several years and their music has been featured in major commercials including Amazon Kindle. With all that, the band has hovered under the radar but this all could change with the latest tracks. They have some big shows coming at Bootleg Theater in LA & Rough Trade NYC.

Los Angeles based pop singer-songwriter Desiree premieres her first single ‘Love Sick‘. The track comes off her forthcoming EP and will be available on iTunes February 14th. The song is sexy, sensual, & haunting, a perfect release for Valentines Day. A former Idol contestant, Desiree was selected to sing during the Los Angeles Sparks game at the Staple Center and also sang the national anthem for the Seattle Mariners. Desiree draws influences from Leona Lewis, Mariah Carey, and Whitney Houston.

Kansas City al-indie pop act Captiva who began performing campuses in the Midwest is creating a buzz. Since then, the band has performed clubs and festivals including Fashion Meets Music Festival, SXSW, Boulevardia, and Audiofeed. The band just released their self titled debut EP which features the track ‘Road To Ruin‘.
