LA’s Cemetery Sun has released a new song ‘Wish It Was Love‘ and video from their forthcoming EP scheduled for an early 2016 release. There is a big open space for a good band in the alternative rock scene and Cemetery Sun is filling that spot. They got traction with the last single (Hard Drugs) Fake Love and their new offering is just as catchy with its strong chorus and harmonies. The band recently partnered with Alterntive Press for the video premier and says this about the new single “Relationships can be toxic and deceiving. This song is about one of those relationships in which both parties want to make it work — but just can’t seem to.”

NYC singer-songwriter Jake Tavill who impressed with his album “Indigo Child” and is working on the much anticipated sophomore release. Having just wrapped performing CMJ, he has a bunch of shows lined up at SXSW. The track ‘It’d Be a Crime‘ incorporates horns, a marching snare, a unique Passenger-esque vocal, along with a hooky melody line. Tavill has a fresh sound, yet a vintage sound and is absolutely onto something.

Colours In The Street track “Birds” has caught our attention with it’s big sound, big hook and melody. Early Coldplay comes to mind. The video also impresses and shows the vastness of this French band. If a newer artist is to cross continents, it very well could be Colours In The Street.
