Flight Brigade

UK folk-pop band Flight Brigade has released their new EP “Stealing Fire”. The songs were mixed by Donald Clark (Muse) and Brian Virtue in Los Angeles (30 Seconds to Mars, Jane’s Addiction, Deftones, Audioslave). The band continues to build momentum performing festivals including The Great Escape, Glastonbury and Bestival. Just like the last single ‘Housefire” created a buzz, so will the new tracks Phantom and When We Were Young. The band continues with their own style of dark-indie-synth pop sound.

Flight of Ryan

Indie rock act Flight of Ryan from Arizona impresses with the new track ‘You Are Mine’. The 4 piece takes some elements of M83 & Coldplay adding a progressive rock element to the mix. The band has experimented with various sounds since their inception, and could be onto something with the release of their new single. According to the group, “You Are Mine” is about a fictional love triangle, embodying a confident, yet dark vibe.

Allan Smithy

Sydney singer-songwriter Allan Smithy who released the single “The Streets” a few weeks ago has premiered the video that accompanies the song. The video beautifully captures playful moments between an elderly couple in the streets of Sydney’s Inner West. The song was recorded in Melbourne with Tom Iansek (Big Scary , #1 Dads) & mixed by Liam Judson (Cloud Control, The Laurels). Smithy notes “I think that 80’s Australiana sound is a national treasure and something we should wear proudly on our sleeves”. Music blogs have already fell in love with his brand of beachy & atmospheric dream pop.
