Kansas City al-indie pop act Captiva who began performing campuses in the Midwest is creating a buzz. Since then, the band has performed clubs and festivals including Fashion Meets Music Festival, SXSW, Boulevardia, and Audiofeed. The band just released their self titled debut EP which features the track ‘Road To Ruin‘. The EP is filled with hooks and catchy guitar riff and the band notes, “It’s raw, honest, and we’re certain that your girlfriend is gonna love it.”

Ivy Nations

I’ve become a fan Dublin act Ivy Nations. The track ‘You Are The Centre Of Me’, is an impressive upbeat track with a memorable guitar hook & chorus. Known in the Dublin scene, the 4 piece indie act could easily move outward. The band notes via the track, “A lustful relationship that continues to shape the lives of both long after the relationship ends. A ruthless desire to seek out one another while leading separate lives. A paralysis that binds them both to a past that offers no forgiveness. The realization that the future is shrouded in uncertainty, offering only the chance to start again.” Drawing influences from Vampire Weekend to Wild Beasts, specialty radio and blogs alike are beginning to take notice.

Desi Valentine

Former London and now Los Angeles based Desi Valentine releases his new track ‘Asylum’. The single is bluesy, poppy, and rootsy, capturing the best elements of modern music. The track was featured on Spotify New Music Friday in the UK and landed at #3 on Hype Machines Twitter chart. Having been compared to Amy Winehouse and Sam Smith, Desi Valentine spent time as a back-up singer for Elton John and Leona Lewis. Demi can be found gigging around Los Angeles.

Night Lights

Los Angeles Night Lights have released the new single “Take My Hand”. Taking cues from Walk The Moon and Mute Math, the track has the modern progressive electro rock feel that will get feet on the dance floor. Quickly making a name for themselves, the band released their debut EP with much fanfare earning them a live session show with Culture Collide, a Vents Magazine feature, and a shoutout by Buzznet.
