NYC singer-songwriter Jake Tavill who impressed with his album “Indigo Child” and is working on the much anticipated sophomore release. Having just wrapped performing CMJ, he has a bunch of shows lined up at SXSW. The track ‘It’d Be a Crime‘ incorporates horns, a marching snare, a unique Passenger-esque vocal, along with a hooky melody line. Tavill has a fresh sound, yet a vintage sound and is absolutely onto something.

Known for their explosive live show, Kassassin Street has created a buzz with the latest single ‘Yeah It’s On’. The track has a classic alternative anthem with hints of Cage Of The Elephant. Colours In The Street track “Birds” has caught our attention with it’s big sound, big hook and melody. Early Coldplay comes to mind. The video also impresses and shows the vastness of this French band. If a newer artist is to cross continents, it very well could be Colours In The Street.

Nottingham electro-alt act DECO released a brand new song “Turn Around”. It’s a strong follow up to the previous tracks like ‘Tokyo’ and ‘Spain‘ as the band keeps the hooks and their unique melodies that have created their signature sound. They’ll headline at The Garage on January 22nd. The band has picked up some accolades along the way that included and opening spot for Depeche Mode at the LG Arena in Birmingham.
