Starling

Starling recently signed to Communion and released the track Wild Heart. Starling started with covers of Joni Mitchell and Bill Withers, eventually writing her own brand of dark, moody, atmospheric- indie pop. Depression, solitude and a cathartic approach to writing form the lyrical basis to Starling’s work, a quality that hints at the depth yet to come from this intriguing new artist.

Novah

Novah, a 5 piece indie act from Stockholm impresses with the new track ‘Robot‘. Drawing influences from the indie greats such as Coldplay, the band has created a soundtrack of their own. According to the band “Robot was one of those songs that practically wrote itself. All the lyrics and melodies were completed in about an hour and a few days later it was recorded, produced and mixed. Everything was done in a tacky home studio in Berlin.” The video which was shot in Stockholm early in the morning matches the song atmospheric & eerie stillness. The band is currently in the studio recording their first ever EP.
