Buzz Track: All I Really Want

Indie rock band The Plastics who hail from Cape Town have become a Kings favorite. Over time the indie rock four-piece has gained a cult following. 2010 saw the release of their debut album, Shark which was produced by award winning producer, Gordon Raphael – best known for his work with US band The Strokes. The band opened for UK indie rock band Two Door Cinema Club & were chosen as one of the twelve winners of a MK MVP for their music video Best Pretenders. The Plastics are a band to watch.

Like The Movies

Like The Movies was formed in 2012 and the Orlando based duo began making noise after gigs at House of Blues, opening for MKTO and touring the East Coast. The band played in support of The Summer Set, We The Kings, The Ready Set, GO Radio and more . The videos “All You Got” and “Boys Like U” have already topped 195,000 views. Kings of A&R has the exclusive release on their cover of Selena Gomez’ “The Heart Wants What It Wants“.

CrumbSnatchers

Buzz Track: Reckless Breakfast

CrumbSnatchers is a fast-rising indie- punk rock band from Knoxville, TN known for their driving, energetic live performance. Their sound is defined by infectious melodies and grooves that have audiences singing along after the first listen. Their up and coming debut full length album comes with much anticipation and excitement. The release date is set for March 3, 2015. They had 3,300 plays on SoundCloud in the first week of its release and two songs are in rotation at WUTK 90.3 The Rock. Crumbsnatchers is an artist to watch.

Hillström & Billy

Buzz Track: Keys In The Lake

Building on the success of their previous four albums, Stockholm act Hillström & Billy return to the music scene after 18 months of harnessing their craft. The Swedish-based musician’s latest single, Keys In The Lake, is taken from his forthcoming album. Keys In The Lake, produced by singer-songwriter Christian Kjellvander, resembles a mix between Sonic Youth and Pavement that is a strikingly constructed song. Having been featured in The Music Ninja , Supajam, and London based Music-News, Hillström & Billy is an artist to watch.

Buzz Track: Sirens

Hydrogen Child is brand new to the music world and is based out of Shreveport, LA and is set to release an EP in early Spring 2015. “Sirens” which was produced by Bryan Fryzell (Mister Wives, Eminem) will be their fist single off the EP . The EP already has 5 future placements in MTV’s “The Real World”, “Road Rules”, and “The Challenge” that will air early 2015. The band is currently playing regionally in the Southeast. Hydrogen Child is an artist to watch.
