Buzz Track: Chase The Sun

Fridge Magnets have become Scotland’s buzz band. They supported Calvin Harris at The Coronet Theatre in London and recently headlined ‘Club Sold Out NME’s Halloween Ball’. Also, winners of the ‘Best Electronic Band’ at the Electronic Music Maker Awards and ‘Best Electronic Act’ at the Scottish Alternative Music Awards both in 2012. This is a band to watch.

Buzz Track: Just Don’t Move Me

House of Laurence have just released the new single Just Don’t Move Me which was produced by Jean-Paul Fung (Jinja Safari, Last Dinosaurs, Theophilus London). This Melbourne, Australia band perform their own brand of psychedelic music, from ambient blissful soundscapes to full fuzz progressive rock without sacrificing hooks. Although fairly new to the scene the band has managed to make some noise. They will perform Paradise Music Festival in November.

Buzz Track: Breath Me In

Kings favorite Jared & The Mill just completed a tour and the bands song “Returning Half” was just featured on ABC’s Nashville. They will be added into full rotation on MY 1039 in Phoenix. They will showcase in LA at Hotel Cafe on Dec 4th. If you missed our last write up on the band, they are indie folk-rock ala Mumford & Sons and the album was produced By Bob Hoag (The Format, Jimmy Eat World). They have shared the stage with the likes of The Killers and Youngblood Hawke.

Buzz Track: Crying at the Disco

London born Lauren Harris, the daughter of Steve Harris (Iron Maiden), fronts a musical project Kingdom of I. She is building a solid resume earning part of the Variety Magazine cover feature
10 Brits to Watch” and gracing the stages of numerous festivals including Sonisphere UK, Sonisphere Spain, Download, Rock am ring, among others. Her song song Crying at the Disco was penned by Dave Stewart (Eurhythmics, Platinum Weird), Kara DioGuardi (Britney Spears, Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson, Kylie Minogue). A tour and full album release will follow in early 2014. This is an artist to watch.

Fresh on the scene Bianca Monica is a 21 year-old singer from New Jersey. Her music career began at 14 when she fronted an alternative rock band. They quickly gained recognition sharing the stage with The Voice’s Juliet Simms and playing venues throughout the tristate area. She co-wrote and released a Self-Titled EP which she had the opportunity of performing on Little Steven VanZandt’s Fuzztopia Show. Bianca has sung the National Anthem for the Mets four times, at both Shea and Citi Field. This past year she has been hard at work on her upcoming sophomore EP, as well as rehearsing with her band in Brooklyn. Her single “Lost” which was produced by Tommy Eichmann will be released November 5th.
