Buzz Track: Land of the Innocent

Austin Texas based Feathers just signed a publishing deal. The group has already played some impressive gigs with Washed Out, The Duke Spirit, Robyn along with slots at All Tomorrow’s Parties (Minehead, UK), Austin Psych Fest and FunFunFun fest. Several songs from their forthcoming album have already landed syncs including on The Vampire Diaries. The group have recently completed their debut album which they plan to release in 2013.

Buzz Track: It’s Going Down

Texas native D’Lannie is making herself known in the pop/hip-hop music industry, working with some of the hottest producers. She is currently working with Authentic TV network on an upcoming reality TV show that will be aired on TLC. She is also featured in Taylor Swift’s new upcoming music video “TROUBLE”. D’Lannie has performed all over the Dallas metroplex including well known clubs such as The Prophet Bar and House Of Blues.

News Update: Los Angeles-based electro-pop duo Capital Cities signed to Capital Records. They have performed in front of sellout crowds all over California, including The Troubadour and El Rey Theater. The track ‘Safe And Sound” reached #1 on CMJ’s A&R Chart.

News Update: Saints of Valory who we profiled last April has signed to Atlantic Records. Saints Of Valory hail from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in, late 2009 & the band decided to launch out of Austin after experiencing SXSW 2010 & have since become one of Austin’s top acts, all in one year’s time. Their debut EP, “The Bright Lights,” was self released in December 2010 and the track “Providence” was well received at Triple A radio, climbing as high as 49th on the nationwide Mediabase chart.
