If you haven’t heard of sing-songwriter Tim Halperin, he has the #1 album on the iTunes singer-songwriter charts. Halperin also landed in the top 24 in last years American Idol and has shared the stage with Hot Chelle Ray, Cody Simpson, etc. The track The Last Song is a Kings favorite and it reminds us of The Fray.

This Canadian pop rock act has worked with top songwriters and producers including Brian Howes (Daughtry) and Dean Dichoso (Fefe Dobson). Eleven Past One who is continuing to build a buzz even attracted Gene Simmons of Kiss who spent a weekend with him talking business. If you live in America you probably never heard of Australian artist Gotye. His single “Somebody That I Used to Know”, which was released July 6th debuted at #27 on the Australia Top 50 Singles Chart. Could this Belgian-Australian multi-instrumental musician and singer-songwriter be the next Peter Gabriel? Who knows, but he is off to a great start.
