Emilie’s song “Brand New†was featured last night (April 30th) on the episode of Grey’s Anatomy. In fact, this will be her second song on the show this season. Songs from Emilie’s recently released debut album, Good Shake, Nice Gloves, have been featured in other outlets as well, including commercials for Sears and the Canadian company, Telus Communications. Her music will also be heard on an upcoming episode of Jennifer Love Hewitt’s show Ghost Whisperer. Danyew, a native of San Diego, CA, has been crafting songs since he was 12, learning a passel of different instruments along the way. Over the past couple of years, he’s immersed himself in the electronic side of the music creation equation. Jared recently signed a worldwide publishing deal with Chrysalis Music Group and is currently working on his debut album with some of the top writers and producers. Jared cultivated his sound and indentity working with Mike Mangini (Joss Stone, Bruce Hornsby), Track & Field (Nelly Furtado), Cliff Magness (Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson, and Brian West (Nelly Furtado).

Vinyl LP sales reached 1.88 million units in 2008, an 89 percent increase from 2007 – According to Nielsen SoundScan. According to the New York Post, Best Buy, the third largest music retailer is considering using as much as eight square feet in each of its 1,020 stores for vinyl.
“Our goal is to occupy as much square footage as possible with music products,” said Atlantic Records CEO Craig Kallman, whose personal vinyl collection numbers more than 300,000, making it one of the largest private collections in the world.
