By now you’ve heard most of the original members of Guns N’ Roses have reunited to perform Coachella in April and are negotiating with promoters to perform stadiums in North America. Not only does Guns N Roses have an appetite for destruction, but they have an appetite to get their money’s worth. According to sources, Guns N’ Roses is asking $3 million per show, with tickets maxing in the $250-$275 range. That’s a lot of money per show and the tickets prices will be fairly high. I’m interested as in how this pans out.
Every time the clock ticks it seems Adele sells another million records. She did it again. Adele is set to sell another million albums in a week. All in all, Adele’s ’25’ could sell near 7 million copies by years end.
In a recent interview with Time Magazine, Adele says she quit social media in order to spend time writing a great album.
“How am I supposed to write a real record if I’m waiting for half a million likes on a #$%^! photo? That ain’t real”
Nearing 7 million albums sold in a quick short weeks, Adele is astonished with her recent success in America:
“I’m not even from America.” Maybe they think I’m related to the Queen. Americans are obsessed with the royal family.”
Other artists may heed Adele’s advice. Instead of spending hours tweeting, consider spending hours creating a real album.
