San Francisco rock band Train who had a hit 10 years ago with “Drops of Jupiter” managed to do it again with a song called
Hey Soul Sister“. An unlikely scenario for an older band, but worth reporting nevertheless. “Hey Soul Sister” is currently sitting at #4 on the iTunes top 20.

Vampire Weekend surprisingly sold 123,597 copies of Contra topping the Billboard charts. The band is currently enjoying sold out shows in NYC and the UK and recently performed on the Tonight Show.

The auto-tune hit ‘Tik Tok’ sung by valley girl Kesha has moved her debut album, Animals, to 152,000 copies finally unseating Susan Boyle.

Susan Boyle sold another 93,000 copies moving 3.2 million copies less than two months.

Morrissey leaves Front Line Management headed by Irving Azoff and says this…

“Following consultation with my lawyers, I wish it to be known that I have terminated, with immediate effect, my association with Front Line Management (Irving Azoff, Andy Gould and Lil Gary), who no longer have any rights to issue any statements on my behalf.I would also like to stress that I have no association with accountants appointed by Front Line, namely London & Co.”
