I really like Spitfire by Lone Wild. Originally calling themselves The Fairweather, they are a mix of Muse and U2. Having shared the stage with Young the Giant, Dreamers, Civil Twilight, and Mutemath – The Oklahoma indie act managed to grab the big classic pop sound. With landing on playlists and garnering blog love, Lone Wild is definitely an artist to watch in 2019. Give it a stream!

Look out for singer-songwriter Mark Diamond. The Seattle based artist just released the catchy track “Steady” which landed on Apple’s Music Best of the Week Playlist. Diamond notes, ” This song was written, tracked and produced all in one night. There is no better feeling than finishing a record that quick. It takes away having to overthink or doubt certain melodies and lyrics. I like Diamond because he is so determined to make it. He pursued music, writing, recording and producing his own material after being kicked out of college and working as a barista at a local coffee shop. He even has his forearm inked with XVII-II-MMVI which marked the day he performed his original song in front of an audience. Check it out!

Boston native Jenna Lotti releases the mid-tempo electro track Nervous. As way to cope with anxiety, Jenna began writing songs. Like any aspiring artist, the LA based singer turned to open mics, picked up the guitar, and recorded YouTube videos in her bathroom.  Jenna’s mix of vulnerability and talent stands out from the crowded electronic arena. Jenna says, “It’s a song about the dark force of anxiety which has dominated my life since I was 10 years old. I’ve always used writing as an outlet because exposing my inner demons is cathartic for me and I hope for someone else who might listen and be suffering from the same thing.” Additionally, she was nominated for “Pop Act of the Year” by the Boston Music Awards in 2017 and was nominated for “Female Performer of the Year” by The New England Music Awards. She’s also opened for Hunter Hayes, and Dan+Shay. Give it a stream!

Look out for singer/songwriter Sierra Heuermann and her band The Radicals.  She got to sing with indie icons Muse after submitting a cover song via a contest. Sierra notes, ” I sang “Starlight” with the band. Right before I was scheduled to go on, I was told that I would be singing alone, without Matt, and that the key was going to be lower than the recording, meaning I wouldn’t be able to use anything I had practiced.” She just dropped the electro pop track You Look Like My Next Ex which is pretty good and is garnering some blog love. Give it a listen!
