Adele’s ’25’ blew past 3 million copies and now has topped 4 million in less than 2 weeks.  Adele made music history with the highest first week sales since tracking music sales.

Adele had the biggest first week sales in the history of music selling 3.38 million copies of ‘25‘. An amazing feat considering the global music industry sales is at the historic low.

Note that 3.38 million were in album sales alone. No other album has sold this massive amount during the first week since the tracking of music purchases in 1991.
