Indie rock act Team has become a Kings favorite since their release of their EP that has received coverage on NME, Alt. Press, among others. The band has opened up for Imagine Dragons and have performed near sold out shows in their hometown of Dallas. The band is currently on a nationwide tour with Third Eye Blind. This is a band to watch.

Buzz Track: Girls

Club America is composed by the brothers Andy and Bruno Alves, natives from the “Manchester City” of Brazil, Sorocaba. With Influences that range from synth- pop, indie-rock and post-punk, the duo launched in 2012 with their first single “Believe.” The music video rapidly caught on being broadcasted on Brazilian music channels such as MTV, PlayTV,  VH1 and Canal Brasil. The instant hit gave them recognition on big-name magazines like Rolling Stone Brasil. The duo has performed around 500 shows in their career including international festivals such as  CMW, VOV Festival, Planeta Terra Festival, Goiânia Noise and Demosul. Their full length will be released January 14, 2014. A band to watch.

Buzz Track: Babylon

ECHOCELL has become a Kings favorite after watching the Babylon video that comes off her newly released EP. ECHOCELL has a history of  selling out The Mint in L.A. as well as the Viper Room. You can check her out at The Troubadour on January 9th and Club Moscow in Hollywood on January 29th. Echocell’s “Babylon (KRADDY Remix)” reached #1 on the Hype Machine “Most Popular On Twitter” chart and songs from the ‘Babylon EP’ have begun to garner airplay on  Alternative Specialty shows.

According to the Official Charts Company’s year-end sales data, published today by British recorded music trade body The BPI, 2013 was the year of the Million Sellers! Four singles released during the last twelve months have crossed over this landmark sales threshold, creating the biggest annual haul of million-selling singles since 1998.

Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines FT TI and Pharrell Williams was the biggest selling single of 2013, clocking up sales of more than 1.47 million copies since it debuted at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart back in June. It spent five non-consecutive weeks at the top spot, and is also the longest running Number 1 of 2013.

Daft Punk’s Get Lucky, which became the first single released in 2013 to reach a million sales and the French dance duo’s first ever UK chart topper, is at Number 2 in the year-end Top 40. Get Lucky, which also features Pharrell Williamsalongside legendary Chic guitarist Nile Rodgers, reached one million sales on its 69th day of release in the UK. Buzz Track: Boys and Girls

Kings favorite Lissa Lauria has just released the video Boys and Girls which will come off her forthcoming EP. Lissa has performed in various shows such as Annie, Diary of Anne Frank and many others. She also booked roles in various Indie Films and Commercials. As a young teen, she was one of the final 3 girls for the role of Lily in the infamous Hannah Montana show. Most recently, she booked the lead role in the new comedy driven feature film,Spare Change, from the producers of Weeds and the new hit TV series, Orange is the New Black and will be released in 2014.
