The Kid Laroi is Australia’s biggest rap export, and he’s only 17. His real name is Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard and he is a self prescribed rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer. He loves Tupac, Erykah Badu, The Fugees, Lil Wayne, and Kanye West.

It all began when Laroi placed third in the 2018 edition of “Unearthed High,” a competition for high school artists sponsored by Australia radio station Triple J. He signed with imprint Grade A Records, alongside his mentor Juice WRLD. He supported Juice WORLD on multiple Australian tours during expanding his audience.
With the help of Spotify, Laroi garnered millions of streams via Spotify’s most popular playlists, including RapCaviar, Pop Rising, Most Necessary, Internet People, Tear Drop, and Hot Rhythmic.
It was his collaboration with Juice — “Go” that took him to the next level where he saw overseas chart success.

Now his first full length F*CK LOVE is topping the charts. You’ll love Laroi if you’re a fan of melodic emo-rap.
Anybody wherever I’ve ever been in my life, one thing they can always say good or bad, I was always doing music and I always wanted to be a rapper,” he said.
