Check out the new track our neighbors by Will Hyde. The song could have descendant from Sam Smith & Twenty One Pilots, a bizarre comparison, but accurate.
The track was written with Mike Waters (John Legend, Grace VanDerWaal) and Joel Quartermain (G-Flip, Dustin Tebbutt).
“I hope this song can comfort anyone that is feeling stuck in a relationship and lost with themselves because of it. You deserve to be happy so get out of that shit!” shares Will.
He’s garnered support from triple j, Unearthed, Amazing Radio, and Apple Music’s The Travis Mills Show. Stream it on KOAR’s Indie Invaders Playlist.
Kings favorite Clide released the new track curve me. The 21 built his repertoire on sad boy pop songs, but the new track is a departure. The new track is upbeat but Clide still sounds detached because he is rejected.
“But why you gotta curve me
Is it so hard to tell
Cause now I’m singing love songs
Singing love songs to myself”
Whatever Clide does, he does it well. The songwriter Berlin based songwriter landed on Spotify’s New Music Friday in the U.S. with his last track Can’t Give Back Your Love. Stream it on KOAR’s Indie Invaders Playlist.
Watch out for Yorkshire singer songwriter Ellur and the new track Moments. If you like upbeat indie rock you’ll love Ellur. The 20 year old indie-pop artist cites Madonna, Kate Bush and Stevie Nicks as influences. She’s garnered support from BBC Introducing West Yorkshire to Spotify playlists. Moments comes off her new EP that’s released via independent Leeds label Dance To The Radio. Check out the video here. Stream it on KOAR’s Indie Invaders Playlist.
Look out for– LA based singer songwriter Tessa Rae and the new track “i don’t miss you”. The track would fit perfectly fit on Spotify’s Indie Rock Club Playlist while Tessa would feel more comfy performing along with The White Stripes than Tate MacRae.
“i dont miss you” is anthemic indie rock at it’s core. It’s the moment you realize you don’t need the person you’ve been longing for all along” says Tessa.
An Oakland native and early influences ranging from Johnny Cash, The Kinks, and Mazzy Star, she says “No cookie cutter pop team is writing my music. Just me and my best friend doing what we love”.
She’s garnered support from Pigeons and Planes Ones To Watch, EARMILK, Clash Music, and Atwood.
Look out for Abby Carey and the track Diamonds. The song would fit nicely on Spotify’s Indie Pop and Indie Pop & Chill Playlist.
“I actually wrote this chorus about struggling with OCD and how hopeless it can feel at times. The verses are written around the visual of “diamonds and dust” and what that could mean. I had fun putting those two ideas together” shares Abby.
The Los Angeles based 24 year old is inspired by the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Ariana Grande, and Wolf Alice.
